On July 2000, the world was surprised by Evangelist Almeda's daring act when he, bringing with him 12 prayer warriors, ascended the mountains of Talipao, Sulu in Southern Philippines, to rescue the tourists held hostage by the most notorious Muslim bandits, the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG), using GOD's power. These head-cutters snatched their captives (nine Malaysians, three Germans, two Filipinos, two Finns, two French, two South Africans, one Lebanese) off Sipadan of Malaysia and carried them to Talipao, Sulu to peddle them for a huge ransom. By fasting and prayer, the evangelist succeeded in softening the Abu Sayyaf terrorists, and finally they released absolutely all the hostages individually and by groups!

But a military assault was ordered by the government to finish off the ASG. As bombs and cannons exploded and machine gun bullets rained on the place turning it into a no man's land; properties were destroyed, and scores of government soldiers, Abu men, and civilians alike were noised to have died and wounded in the all-out war. News immediately flashed, the evangelist and his prayer warriors were executed by the Abu terrorists because of the military offensive! But on October 1, 2000, after more than two weeks of the bombing operation, Evangelist Wilde E. Almeda, together with the complete number of the prayer warriors, emerged from the war-torn Talipao jungle alive and unscathed! Indeed a chain of miracles has been performed by the omnipotent GOD once more!

With no hope left for me and when even my own physical strength has left me, I planned to buy my coffin and make it as my bed until death overcomes me. One Tuesday afternoon at around 1 o'clock in November 1990, One Strong Force took me in front of the TV to switch it on and watch the services of the JESUS Miracle Crusade International Ministry. On that part where Evangelist Wilde E. Almeda would pray for the sick, he asked the viewers to touch the TV screen as point of contact as he laid his hands on them that are sick and with heart breaking problems and join in the prayer of acceptance (...that we are sinners and ask for forvigeness of our sins and believing that JESUS CHRIST died for us to redeem us from our sins and accept HIM as our LORD and SAVIOR). At that instant I felt something hot come out of my body as in a dark smoke and then being replaced by a chilling cold, I knew that was the Spirit of GOD. HE instantly healed me from my Heart Disease, Kidney Trouble, Ulcer, Sinusitis and Appendicitis. HE also removed my vices such as smoking, drinking (alcohol) and watching movies. HE also took away my being hot-tempered attitude. In my 13 years of service to our Living GOD, my wife and I and our property have been many times rescued from fire and hot oil. GOD is Good and HIS Mercies endureth forever! Amen.

came to know the LORD JESUS CHRIST in the year 1991 through a crusade held in Burnham Park. Although I grew up in a church called the Nazarene Church, I did not find Christian virtues in my life. Troubles were all i had. I had no peace of mind. My husband is a hard-core womanizer and a drunk. Often times we get into a heated argument that made me severe even to my children. The change in my husband made me turn to GOD. The crusade that was held in that year really made a change in my husbands behavior as he was just an irresponsible husband and father to our children prior to that crusade. He was full of vises, smoking, alcohol drinker, gambler and a womanizer at that. After he accepted the LORD JESUS CHRIST in his life, he became a new man. The previously troubled home was transformed into a peaceful and loving home where there was joy even in our hearts. I myself had vises too. I was a movie-goer and an addict in reading animated magazines (we call "comics"). I was also hot-tempered. I had kidney and liver disease and migrane but these were healed from the time I served GOD in this ministry. Praise the Mighty and Most Precious Name of our Dearest JESUS CHRIST!

Bro. Melchor Jarina

Bro. Melchor Jarina, 28 years old, of Phase 11, Bitanag Creek, Puntod, Cagayan de Oro City and a JMCIM member, was blasted with a shotgun by a drunk security guard when he failed to lend the latter 70 pesos because he only had 50 pesos on hand. What a cheap amount for a life!

But in every place where crusades of JMCIM are held, our beloved and honorable Evangelist Wilde E. Almeda's powerful words resound, "If you are a true child of GOD, in times of danger, first ask forgiveness of your sins from GOD and rebuke: IN JESUS' NAME BE FROZEN OR CAST OUT! HALLELUJAH! PRAISE THE LORD!" and the LORD will help you!

So, as soon as the shotgun exploded towards the chest of Bro. Melchor he shouted, "HALLELUJAH! PRAISE THE LORD!" The strong impact threw him a few feet away with his head almost touching his knees. It was a 12-gauge shotgun. The splinters that landed on Bro. Melchor's chest ricocheted to different directions, riddling with holes the nearby Barangay Captain's house, stalls, and galvanized drum filled with water! But Bro. Melchor's chest was intact, without wounds, only powder burns and bruises but his t-shirt was damaged!

Bro. Domingo Magpantay

What would you do with a son-in-law who is a drug addict, earns his money and feeds his family by cell phone snatching, and makes a punching bag out of his wife? He can never be straightened out by Bro. Domingo Magpantay's (the father-in-law) constant plea for him to change his ways. So, one day, Bro. Domingo decided to send his poor daughter away to his loved ones in the province before his husband kills her.

Angered by his father-in-law's decision the man stealthily went to the former's house in the dead of night on May 24, 2005 when Bro. Domingo was sound asleep. He pointed a .38 caliber gun through a hole by the wall and fired at his innocent victim from about one-and-one-half meters away then fled.

A neighbor heard the shot and quickly knocked at Bro. Domingo's door. The neighbor told him that he heard a gunfire and suspects that Bro. Domingo was the victim. Bro. Domingo awoke and said how could that be when he is still alive? But while he was standing to open the door he felt an excruciating pain on his chest, groaning as he lost strength and fell on his knees. He realized he must have been shot.

After a while he turned on the light and groped around. He found the bullet of a .38 caliber pistol on the floor. He examined his body and noticed something like an impact of a strong fist's blow or a bump just below the heart area. The bullet recovered was already damaged, with a hole exposing its inside, and a lead metal in the middle baring its double action type!

Bro. Domingo was rushed to the East Avenue Hospital for treatment, but to the surprise of the attending physicians and policemen that responded to the crime, no wound was found on his body — only a big reddish-violet mark just above the stomach on the left area. The deadly bullet became a harmless thing!

Many times the Word of GOD is fulfilled in the true Church of GOD, "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper ... This is the heritage of the LORD, and their righteousness is of Me, saith the LORD."

JESUS SAVED ME FROM HOLDUPPER'S BULLET

"JESUS saved me!" declared Bro. Jerry Murillo, 28 years old, in an interview as he showed the news reporter the scar etched on his left chest caused by a holdupper's (armed robber) bullet.

He confessed that he never believed testimonies of JESUS Miracle Crusade brethren when he heard them say they experienced being invulnerable to bullets, or being unharmed in holdup incidents. But what he thought impossible happpened to him one day.

Bro. Jerry was on his way home a little past midnight on April 29, 1990, and at the entrance of Horacio dela Costa Subdivision, Lagro, Novaliches, Quezon City, he was held up by a man with a .38 caliber pistol.

As Bro. Jerry pleaded to the robber not to harm him, another holdupper darted out from the dark holding a home-made shotgun, "sumpak." They held him and struggled to take his belongings.

He prayed to GOD for help and shouted, "HALLELUJAH! PRAISE THE LORD!"

Surprised, the holduppers suddenly took their hands off him. Then out of the dark there appeared a white car approaching where they stood which somehow distracted the men's attention. But one of the men nervously warned Bro. Jerry not to run or else they will shoot him.

After the car passed them by, a mysterious force from behind pushed Bro. Jerry forward so that he could not help but run away from the holduppers, but after just two steps away, one of the men shouted "Stop!"

Bro. Jerry stopped and instantly turned around to face them, and from just a meter away, the man with the .38 pistol fired his gun towards him.

He again shouted, "HALLELUJAH!" as the force of the shot threw him back one-and-a-half meters farther and he fell to the ground. When he lifted his head, he saw the two holduppers were already very far away and have escaped in fear!

And when he examined his chest, his t-shirt had no blood, only a tiny hole -- the entry point of the bullet -- and on his body was a slight gunshot wound from which the bullet merely bounced off his chest.

The medico legal certificate issued to him on May 3, 1990 by Dr. Honorata C. Gonzales, Chief, Medical Records Division, Philippine General Hospital, Manila, goes: a grazing 20 gunshot wound, (1) lower anterior chest. He was attended to by Dr. Luis Panuncialman.

Matthew 10:8 "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give."

Words are nothing without proof. And the gospel without Biblical signs, wonders, and miracles is an obvious betrayal of truth. Here is what the Bible says:

Hebrews 2: 3 and 4 "How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard [him]; God also bearing [them] witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?"

1 Corinthians 2: 4 and 5 "And my speech and my preaching [was] not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God."

Acts 1:8 "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."

John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:"

1 Corintians 4:20 "For the kingdom of God [is] not in word, but in power."

Matthew 16:18 " ... upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

Jeremiah 32:17 "Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, [and] there is nothing too hard for thee:"

Isaiah 54:17 "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue [that] shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This [is] the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness [is] of me, saith the LORD."

1 John 4:4 " ... greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world."

These and many more verses show how a Christian can be so powerful if he truly follows the Word of GOD. A Christian indwelt by the Spirit of GOD should manifest divine power experienced by our Christian progenitors. It is sad if this is not so with some, because they will be at the mercy of the enemy, the devil.

There is an urgent need to obtain this power from GOD with all that the enemy is doing in the world today -- he uses people and circumstances to perpetrate crime and violence, terrorism, bloody murders, etc., which make up the gruesome news of everyday. Many have been victims of Satan's cruelty. How unsafe this planet is specially now!

The devil is the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4), and he is given temporary authority by GOD to have dominion over this sinful planet, under the permissive will of the LORD, after Adam and Eve fell from grace by disobedience to commandment of GOD. People without the Spirit of GOD are easy victims of Satan and his cohorts. That is why we see morbid massacres, freak accidents, natural and man-made calamities, lawlessness, rape, war, etc., everywhere sowing confusion, fear, chaos, hopelessness, and despair upon all perpetrators, their victims, and the spectators, worsening even during these end times, and the worst finale -- death and hell!

But take a look at how it is going in the lives of the JESUS Miracle Crusade brethren in the true Church of GOD. It is the other way around -- the devil is at the mercy of Christians! Our loving Savior JESUS CHRIST offers powers over Satan and all evil spirits to survive in this world of carnage. Satan is the enemy, and without the power from on high, man is just a plaything for him.

But thank the good LORD, we can be victorious over all the power of darkness and proclaim this to all the world (Acts 1:8, Luke 10:19)! By receiving our dearest JESUS through water baptism in JESUS' name (Acts 2:38) HIS Spirit will enter the heart of every believer to become true sons and daughters of GOD (John 1:12). Satan can never have dominion over the children of GOD by the blood of our dearest JESUS (Revelation 12:11) if all will steadfastly serve HIM until HE comes. The fact is, the devil had been defeated by the blood of the resurrected CHRIST Whose Spirit now resides in every believer in HIS true Church.

The subsequent pages of this section will show just a very few testimonies from a vast ocean of miracles in the JESUS Church, made possible by the constant prayer and fasting started by our dearly beloved honorable Evangelist WILDE E. ALMEDA and Assistant Pastor LINA C. ALMEDA since the pioneering years of JMCIM, which goes on unto this day.

This is the spiritual side of heaven -- the JESUS Church is none other than the kingdom of GOD on earth!

Matthew 6:10 "Thy kingdom come." -- This portion in the LORD's Prayer tells about the forthcoming Church to be established by GOD on earth, prelude to the coming down of the literal heaven in Revelation 21:1-4.

Matthew 16:18 " ... upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." -- This revelation which was prophesied during the Apostles' time is fulfilled right now in the JESUS Church!

Hebrews 6:4-5 " ... those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost*, And have tasted the good word of God**, and the powers of the world to come***, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put [him] to an open shame." -- This talks of a supernatural power a true Christian can avail of and the admonition and warning to be steadfast in faith, never to fall away from the true Church, or else damnation in hell will be inevitable.

* The Pentecostal experience of first believers in Acts 2:3 and 4, the fourth requirement of salvation after faith, repentance, and water baptism in JESUS'name.

** Meaning, the fulfillment, firsthand or true-to-life experience in a believer, not just theory or wishful thinking.

*** This means the advanced experience of the supernatural powers of heavenly beings. To say it clearly, the natural world can never imagine firing a gun and its speeding bullet landing on a bare human body without being hurt. Or the bullet simply bouncing off the skin, leaving just a scratch! Or can a man's body be transformed into an impenetrable matter like solid iron to withstand bullets fired point blank? Only to "Bionic man" or other fictional characters. But it happens to JMCIM brethren -- an undeniable, hard fact. Out of this world? Indeed! A foretaste of heaven, "the powers of the world to come!"
